
Stop the perfection! Give yourself a break.
The stress of being hard on yourself following a less-than-healthy decision may be as bad, if not worse, than that decision.
Understanding what drove you to make a couple of unhealthy decisions is necessary, but the shame cycle won’t get you to the root cause. Shame and blame will mask the real issue, and while you’re wallowing in self-pity because of the bad decision, you’re likely to embark in unhealthy behaviours, sabatoging any successcyou had experienced.
So RELAX. The purpose is health, wellness, vitality, focus, energy, and joy, and perfection is not a sustainable way of getting any of those!!
Do what you can with what you have, and every day is a new opportunity to get it right!!!
Wellness is not complicated, and it isn’t obtained by trying to be “perfect”.
